Test Overview:
This advanced nuclear medicine imaging technique uses a 68Ga-DOTA-NOC radiotracer to precisely detect and evaluate neuroendocrine tumors (NETs) throughout the body. The tracer specifically binds to somatostatin receptors that are overexpressed on NET cells, allowing for highly accurate tumor localization.

  For All Patients:
  ✔ Fasting: 4+ hours (water allowed)
  ✔ Reports Needed: Creatinine (<15 days old)
  ✔ Bring: Previous scans/reports, 1 attendant

  For Women (Under 50):
  ✔ Confirm non-pregnancy: LMP date or urine test

  Avoid:
  ✖ Smoking before scan
  ✖ Heavy exercise (24 hrs prior)

  Diabetics:
  ✔ Take regular meds (except insulin)
