The centre has installed Biggest open MRI machine. It is 0.3 T AIRIS II machine from Hitachi Medical Systems. It is the latest model from Hitachi.
The machine has an open magnet which is open on all sides and patient does not have to enter into scary tubular gantry of supercon MRI systems. 0.3T is the highest magnetic field available in open systems.
