AN ISO 9001:2000 CERTIFIED LAB

SMART LAB AUTONALYSER

Fully automated system for biochemistry and enzymatic assays from Transasia biomedicals does 120 tests per hour.
Has highly sensitive level sensors to minimise contact and thus practically eliminates carry overs.

SYSMEX KX-21 HAEMATOLOGY ANALYSER

This fully automatic three part differential cell counter from world renowed Sysmex of Japan does 18 parameters at a time.
It can process 60 samples per hour.

MINI VIDAS SYSTEM

This fully automated system from bioMerieux of France uses ELFA (Enzyme linked fluorescent immunoassay) technique for highly accurate results.
It uses individual self contained kits which eliminate carryovers and intermixing. Thyroid profile (FT3, FT4, TSH), fertility profile (FSH,LH,PROLACTIN), Beta hCG, AFP, PSA, CA 125 cancer marker results are available same day. Beta hCG results when required in emergency can be provided within two hours. HIV Duo is a highly sensitive test as it detects P24 antigen along with HIV I & II. This reduced the window period for HIV detection to as low as 14 days from infection.

QBC II WITH PARALENS

This is an automated haematology analyser. The fluorescent paralens attachment is an highly sensitive system to detect haemoparasites.
The fluorescent technique enables almost 100% detection of malaria parasite which is difficult to detect on a conventional blood film ( thus very high false negative results).
This system is so sensitive that it can even detect few parasites circulating in blood even after treatment with antimalarial drungs such as chloroquin. Some times during incubation period of malaria the test may be positive even though patient has not yet developed symptoms of malaria.

COAG UNO - Coagulometer

This is a dedicated instument for coagulation studies for PT & APTT etc.
It uses highly intense lasers at 470 nm for accurate reliable results.

THE LAB

All kinds of blood tests, urine, stool examinations, Hisopathology, FNAC, cultures etc are done in the centre. Facility of PCR ( Polymerase chain reaction) and radiometric culture are available. Radiometric culture enables culture and senstivity results for AFB (Tuberculosis) to be obtained in 1 - 2 weeks instead of 4-8 weeks for conventional cultures.
